The family of a K-State student injured in a Missouri boat crash is asking for the public's help.
According to a GoFundMe page set up by Ashley Lamb's sister, Alexis, Ashley is in critical condition and sustained multiple facial injuries.
Alexis wrote that Ashley is currently in ICU and will need multiple neurological and facial surgeries in the coming weeks.
Alexis says Ashley will have a long road to recovery. She says the family is unsure what the costs will be, but any donation is appreciated including love, support and prayers.
So far, they have raised more than $4,200. Their goal is $10,000.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says a boat with five people aboard struck a rock bluff Saturday morning, launching three people into the water. The patrol says the three victims who died were all from Kansas.
The boat's driver, 22-year-old Hayden Frazier, of Overland Park, faces several charges.
