Emporia State wins Corsicana Bowl 30-22
Emporia native Braxton Marstall said farewell to Emporia State in sensational fashion.
The senior quarterback completed 22 of 30 passes for 315 yards and five touchdowns in a 30-22 Corsicana Bowl victory over Arkansas-Monticello. He was the game's MVP. The victory puts the Hornets at 8-4 to finish the season.
Marstall found a pair of receivers for two touchdowns each: Jordan Reed and Tyler Harris. His last touchdown put the Hornets ahead for good in the fourth quarter, when he found Harris for a 13-yard, go-ahead touchdown.
