TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A non-profit received a donation Thursday to help people with disabilities.

The ITC Charitable Giving program gave Easterseals Capper Foundation $5,000 to but art supplies and advertising for their Capper Creations Gift Shop. The gift shop features items created by adults who use the organizations services.

"Just creating the stuff they do here, it's amazing," said Chris Ostrander, the Adult Day Services Manager. "If you ever come check out the gift store you'll see wonderful items but they get a great thrill out of creating, painting, selling the stuff. But also they're learning a trade here but they're also earning a wage also."

The shop is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The address is 3500 South West 10th Avenue.
