TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW/CNN) --- Dillons is getting into the CBD business too.

Starting next week, the grocery store chain plans to sell hemp-derived CBD topical products in its stores. Dillons spokesperson Sheila Lowrie said in a statement they will be stocking "a highly-curated selection of topical products like lotions, balms, oils and creams."

"Our limited selection of hemp-derived CBD topical products is from suppliers, which have been reviewed for quality and safety," Lowrie continued.

Dillons' parent company plans to offer them in seventeen states, including Kansas, and online. They will be available in the pharmaceutical section of stores that have pharmacies, she explained.

CBD stands of cannabidiol. It is a chemical found in hemp and marijuana plants.
