ORDWAY, Colo. (WIBW) -- Widespread vaping was partially blamed for a southeast Colorado high school forfeiting its volleyball match Thursday night.
Crowley Co. High School made the announcement on its Facebook page a couple of hours before its match against Rocky Ford High School, saying the decision was based on team issues regarding widespread vaping and other school infractions.”
“This was not a light decision, however, CCSD takes student handbook violation very seriously,” the Ordway, Colorado, district said.
The school also shared information for parents to find about vaping and urged them to talk to their children about the issue.
On Friday morning, the school posted a game day graphic for its football game against Limon High School that night.
