TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - It was a chocolate lover’s paradise over at Central Congregational Church in Topeka on Saturday.
For just $7 people could fill a box full of chocolate goodies to take home -- and they had almost too many options to count!
Every year Central Congregational Church members put on this “A Taste of Chocolate" event to raise money for outreach mission work.
That work includes providing clothes and school supplies for children at Robinson Middle School and Sheldon Head Start.
Congregation member Cheryl Buxton said everything is it's all homemade, and every single member of the church helped with the project.
“Myself personally, I've been working on this for about a month,” Buxton explained.
Last year this event raised $1,500 for the Church's mission work.
