Chiefs announce special events for fans during training camp

The Kansas City Chiefs head to St. Joseph, Mo., for training camp July 30, and the team announced some special events for fans Monday afternoon.
The first practice of camp will be open to the public. Following the 3:30 p.m. practice, there will be a full-team autograph session.
Social media days will be held on July 31 and Aug. 5. These two days will provide an official snapchat filter, along with special deals on merchandise.
Tailgate Tuesdays on the first three Tuesdays in August will give fans the chance to get tailgating gifts from the team.
On Aug. 6, the Chiefs will host American Family Fun Day. Families can enjoy the kids' zone, a rock wall, face painting and more.
Sunday, Aug. 7, is season ticket member appreciation day. Parking at camp will be free for all season ticket holders. Also, season ticket holders will enjoy a pancake breakfast before practice and will have a VIP tent to watch practice from.
Military Appreciate Day falls on the last day of camp, Aug. 18. Members of the armed forces will receive VIP treatment.
When the team does not do full-team autograph sessions, certain position groups will be signing for fans:
--QB/RB/Specialists: Aug. 1, Aug. 9, Aug. 18
--LB: Aug. 2, Aug. 10
--WR/TE: Aug. 3, Aug. 15
--OL/DL: Aug. 5, Aug. 16
-DB: Aug. 8, Aug. 17
