Before kick off in Super Bowl LIV, both the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers honored the deaths of Chris Doleman, Kobe and Gianna Bryant.

Both teams lined up before the game at the 24-yard line. 24 was one of the jersey numbers Kobe Bryant wore.

There was a moment of silence in memory of their deaths and the other passengers of the helicopter crash the Bryants died in.
