Bonner Springs Police don’t joke around when it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs.

When they encountered a 49ers fan, they had to call for backup. They called in…Big Red.

In this parody video, the BSPD had a little fun ahead of the Chiefs/49ers Super Bowl match-up.

Big Red isn’t head coach Andy Reid, but one of the departments K9’s.

Check out the fun video:

Here at the Bonner Springs Police Department, we take our Chiefs Football seriously! Some of us have been waiting our whole lives for a chance to see the Chiefs win the Superbowl and this Sunday, that is looking pretty likely! Our department has allowed us to wear Chiefs hats and we've all sported them proudly. Our on duty officers would also certainly like to listen to the game while on patrol! So, just as we asked during the AFC Championship destruction of the Titans, would all potential criminals PLEASE avoid any and all criminal activity on Sunday so that EVERYONE can enjoy the first Chiefs Superbowl victory in 50 years?!?! Besides, you don't want to anger Big Red.... And if you haven't already, please sign up for our Trivia Pursuit Benefit for the K-9 Program on March 26th, 2020 at 5:30 PM at the Farm at Woodend Springs! You can meet all of these officers, including the four-legged ones there! Now back to business....GO CHIEFS!!!!
