TPD identifies 29 year-old found dead in cemetery, says no foul play suspected

The Topeka Police Dept. has released the name of the 29 year-old man whose body was found in a local cemetery Tuesday morning.

The man was identified as Antoine Hampton, of Topeka. Investigators say they do not suspect foul play and have turned the case over to the Coroner's Office.

Police said a passerby spotted Hampton's body lying in the middle of a road in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, in the 3600 block of SW 6th Ave., around 7:00 a.m.

Authorities did not indicate how he may have died.
