Body found after car fire at Clinton Lake

The Douglas County Sheriff office is investigating after a body was found in a car that was on fire at Clinton Lake.

First responders were called to Rockhaven Campground, 1046 E700 Rd., just before noon on Tuesday when someone reported a car was on fire.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire and found the body inside.

Deputies say it’s an active death investigation, but would not release any other details.
