LECOMPTON, Kan (WIBW) -- The Historic Territorial Capital Museum in Lecompton will host more than 170 uniquely decorated Christmas trees. They will be on display now through January 1st.
The museum is located at 640 E. Woodson in Lecompton.
The exhibit is an annual tradition of the Lecompton Historical Society. The display began with just one decorated tree. Over the years people began giving decorations and antique ornaments to the museum which started the tradition.
Trees of all sizes can be found on all three floors of the museum. It is accessible for those with mobility challenges.
The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
