Agriculture students from across US head to Manhattan for NACTA Conference

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- College students from across the US came to K-State to participate in the annual North American Colleges and Teachers Agriculture Judging Conference.

This year more than 800 college students and faculty from almost 50 universities came to the Little Apple to compete.

Students test their skills in different agriculture-based competitions including livestock, horticulture, meat, equine management, and much more.

The conference takes place April 6 though the 8 at the Kansas State Campus. Each year the conference is hosted by a different university.
