TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A growing Topeka company will bring new life to Gage Center.
Advisors Excel announced Friday it has purchased the Gage Center property, with plans to build a second campus on the SW Huntoon and Gage location.
The property includes two office buildings, a retail strip center, and additional retail and restaurant space.
Advisors says it will double the company's current space capacity.
“Every day we strive to positively impact the lives of our advisors, our team of employees and of course, the community,” co-founder Cody Foster said in a news release. “We are thrilled to be in a position where we have the opportunity to expand our operations and blueprint in the community as well as improve the Gage Center property.”
Exact plans for the property are not yet finalized. McFarlands and Annie's Place restaurants are among businesses currently operating at Gage Center.
Advisors Excel has some 550 employees at its current campus off SW 29th and Fairlawn.
The company was founded in 2005. On its web site, it describes itself as "one of the fastest-growing insurance marketing organizations (IMOs) in history."
