Railroad car catches fire inside Topeka shops

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) A railroad car caught on fire inside of a building at the Santa Fe plant in Topeka around 6 A.M. on Tuesday, November 20th.

BNSF crews were working on the railroad car when part of the subflooring caught on fire.

The Topeka Fire Department confirmed that it was a small fire and was put out within minutes.

Nobody was injured in the incident and work has returned to normal at the plant.
