Evelyn Wilson sworn in as new Kansas Supreme Court Justice

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Kansas Supreme Court welcomed its newest justice on Friday.

Judge Evelyn Wilson took her oath, she previously served 15 years on the bench in Shawnee County District court.

She spent the past six years as Chief Judge for 3rd judicial district.

Before becoming a judge, she practiced law in Northwest Kansas and Topeka.
