4 students hurt after semi rear-ends school bus in SW Wichita
Four students suffered minor injuries in a school bus crash in southwest Wichita Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 6:34 a.m. near Dora and Meridian.
Sedgwick County Dispatchers say the crash involved two vehicles - the school bus and a semi cab.
Wichita Public Schools spokeswoman Susan Arensman said the truck struck the bus from behind as it was stopped at a railroad crossing.
Arensman said the bus was carrying 21 students from Allison Traditional Magnet Middle School. Four students complained of minor injuries and two were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Some students have already been picked up by parents.
