Authorities Tuesday night identified the four children killed in a Thanksgiving Day crash in Republic County, as being from New Mexico.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says Jennifer Lovelacelost, 38, control on 30 road, north of Highway 36 near Courtland.

The vehicle went off the road, landing up-side-down, submerged in a pond. A crash report released Tuesday does not state why she lost control.

It does identify the four children who were killed as Ronald Hyde, 12, Travis Hyde, 9, Aidan Lovelace, 4, and an infant Axton Beck, all from Tularosa, New Mexico.

All were properly buckled in. Their mother suffered serious injuries. An adult man in the vehicle had minor injuries.
