3.9 magnitude quake shakes Flint Hills region

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) An early morning quake may have shaken you awake Monday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.9 magnitude earthquake was reported about 12.4 miles northwest of Cottonwood Falls. 

According to the USGS, the quake was felt in Chase and Morris Counties, as well as parts of Lyon, Dickinson and Marion Counties. 

There have been no initial reports of damage.
