3 arrested in shooting death in Wichita motel parking lot

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- Wichita police arrested three people in connection with a deadly shooting Sunday morning.

Bryant Baily, 49, Robyn Murphy, 52, and Annette Williams, 60, were all booked into the Sedgwick County Detention Facility on arresting charges of first-degree murder.

Police say around 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a shooting call at the Countryside Inn, 803 S. Broadway.

Officers arrived to find 55-year-old Timothy Austin, of Wichita, who had been shot in the upper body. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.

Officers learned that he was involved in a disturbance with the suspects in the parking of the motel. Police believe the shooting was not random and drug-related.
