GREENWOOD CO., Kan. (WIBW) Authorities in Greenwood County are investigating a weekend boating accident that sent two people to the hospital.

KVOE Radio reports it happened at Fall River Lake Saturday night.

The Greenwood Co. Sheriff's Office says the boat was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a bridge structure.

Four people were on board.  A woman suffered injuries to her ankle and hip, and a man was cut on his head.  Two others were thrown from the boat but not injured.

Officials say one person was airlifted to a Wichita hospital, but wouldn't identify who that was.

KVOE says game wardens used a drone to locate the crash site and victims.
