As reported, domestic violence calls are up in Topeka compared to the same period a year ago, and officials say the rise in cases may be the result of stay-at-home orders brought about by coronavirus concerns.
The YWCA is helping those who have been impacted by the increase in domestic violence.
We have broken the $1,000 mark. Donations beat $1,500, and his 9-year-old daughter, Morgan, will cut his hair on Facebook LIVE and Periscope at 3:00pm Saturday.
He also extended this to a challenge for others. He's calling it the #HelpingHaircutChallenge and has picked Trooper Ben Gardner from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Actor Eric Stonestreet, and country music artist Travis Marvin, to all take the haircut challenge and raise money for a charity in need.
