Vice President Vance to host midterm rally in Topeka next week

TOPEKA, Kan. (KCTV) - Vice President JD Vance will visit Kansas next week as the GOP continues to effort support toward Senator Roger Marshall in his bid toward reelection.

The Republican National Committee announced that Vance will host a midterm rally at HME, Inc., in Topeka on Monday, Oct. 26.

Doors to the event will open at 2 p.m. CT, the event will begin at 4 p.m. and Vance is expected to speak at 5:15 p.m.

Vance’s visit to Kansas comes a week after President Donald Trump hosted a rally near Wichita to support Roger Marshall in his reelection attempt for the U.S. Senate.

Marshall is going up against Democratic challenger, Adam Hamilton.
