Seaman, Washburn Rural girls soccer pick up wins

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - It was another day in the office for both of these programs.
Both programs spun shutouts as Seaman defeated Topeka High six-nill, while Washburn Rural secured an 8-0 victory over Emporia.
Destiny Higgs for Rural scored four of the eight goals for the Junior Blues. Anna Becker and Jaycee Schumann scored a goal a piece for Seaman.
The Vikings are now 13-1 with senior night up next against Hayden May 5 with game-time set for 5:30 p.m.
Washburn Rural is 9-4 on the season and will hit the road to play Wichita Northwest on May 4th.
