Chiefs trade up, draft OT Wanya Morris in third round

KANSAS CITY, MO. (WIBW) - The Kansas City Chiefs have added a new player to protect Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs drafted offensive tackle Wanya Morris from Oklahoma in the third round (92nd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.
In order to select Morris, the Chiefs traded a seventh round choice to the Cincinnati Bengals in order to move up three spots from No. 95 overall, their scheduled spot, to No. 92 overall.
Currently, the Chiefs have eight picks remaining in the 2023 NFL Draft.
