TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Coming off of a win earlier this week to break .500, the Royals looked to keep raising their win percentage against the Twins Thursday night.

Kansas City did just that in kicking off a four-game series at home with a 6-5 victory against Minnesota.

Salvador Perez managed to turn in two runs, and batted in two others.

They play the Twins again at 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
