TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - In an ongoing investigation on March 17, 2021, the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 1800 block of SW Willow Avenue. During the search warrant, officers located heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.

Topeka residents, Amy Mann, 44 and Scott Barker, 35 were both taken to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections for the following charges: Amy Mann was charged with possession of heroin with the intent of distribution (3 counts), and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent.

Scott Barker is being charged with possession of heroin and the intent of distribution, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent, and felony possession of stolen property.
