LUBBOCK, Texas (WIBW) - Despite shooting better percentages from the field, the free throw line and beyond the arc, Kansas State fell to No. 18 Texas Tech 82-71 Tuesday night.

The Red Raiders outscored the Wildcats by 21 from the free throw line, finishing 30-36 compared to K-State’s 9-for-9. K-State fouled 24 times in Tuesday’s game, while Texas Tech finished with 10 on the night.

Freshmen Nijel Pack and Selton Miguel led K-State scorers with 17 points each. Fifteen of Pack’s were in the first half. Miguel tied his career high on 6-12 shooting.

David Bradford made all four of his shots to pitch in 10 points.

The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Jan. 9 at home against Texas Tech.
