Jared Allen named as NFL Hall of Fame finalist

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - One Former Kansas City Chief is a step closer to his enshrinement in Canton, Ohio.
Jared Allen was named as a finalist for the NFL Hall of Fame. This is his first year of eligibility.
The talented defensive end picked up 136 sacks and forced 32 fumbles on his way to a career featuring five pro-bowls and four all-pro nominations.
Allen played in Kansas City from 2004-2007, before playing five years with the Minnesota Vikings and retiring in 2015 after brief stints with the Bears and Panthers.
