Friday Forecast: Top 10 Day, Enjoy!
Getting into a more fall/almost spring like weather pattern to begin November
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Take advantage of today’s weather with highs in the 60s, sunny skies and winds around 10 mph or less. Certainly a nice reward after most of the last 8 days stuck in the 30s and 40s with overcast skies.
Temperatures for most of the next 8 days will be similar if not warmer than today however winds will gust 20-30 mph. The coldest day will be Sunday due to a cold front Saturday evening however it’s not expected to come with any rain or even cloud cover, just the wind shift and drop in temperatures. In fact the next chance of precipitation may not occur until late next weekend which of course is more than a week out and could change.
Today: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Winds SW 5-10 mph.
Tonight: Clear. Lows in the low-mid 40s. Winds S 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Winds S/W 10-20, gusting up to 30 mph.
Halloween Trick or Treating Forecast: Dry with temperatures dropping in the 50s/upper 40s with NW 5-15 gusts up to 20 mph, winds diminishing through the evening.
Sunday: Sunny. Highs in the low-mid 50s. Winds NW 5-15 gusts up to 20 mph.
Next week: Dry with plenty of sun and highs in the 60s and 70s. Other than starting out below freezing Monday morning, temperatures remain above freezing all week.
- VOTE on Tuesday. No weather hazards on Election Day so if you don’t plan to vote early, weather can’t be an excuse not to get out and let your voice be heard on Tuesday.
