TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Evergy reports power is back on from outages affecting more than 1,600 customers in Manhattan at their height.

The outage first was reported at 5:35p.m. Monday. Aggieville was among areas affected.

According to Evergy’s outage map, crews were still working on four outages at 7:05 p.m. that impacted 10 customers in all. By 7:30 p.m., everyone was restored.

Evergy told 13 NEWS heat damaged some equipment, causing the outage.
