Governor Honors K-State's Coach Snyder

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- K-State Coach Bill Snyder is being recognized for success in the 2011-2012 football season.

Governor Sam Brownback signed a proclamation Wednesday honoring Coach Snyder.

Snyder led the K-State wildcats to a 10-3 record, taking the team to the 2012 Cotton Bowl. He also received the 2011 Woody Hayes National Coach of the Year Award, and Big 12 Coach of the Year honors.

Snyder has 159 career victories, the 11th highest in all of division 1 football.
