Looking of of old HWY40 west of Chapman 1/2 mile This used to be a huge lot of cottonwood trees standing 50ft or better in the river bottom! Now they are broke or up rooted.Left side of photo is east!from where I am standing is the north edge of damage and stretches 4/10 mile to the south.

This is a wheat field incredible runoff filled the bottom! 1hour prior there was no water now about 2feet rushing from the flint hills into the bottom!!!over 4inches fell in about an hour!!

Marysville has created a new park for it's Pony Express statue. This area is downtown on the former site of the UP train tracks. Up has relocated the tracks to the west of town.
