THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON NC HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY IN NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 730 PM EDT

* AT 526 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED MORE STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING IN SOUTHEASTERN WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY AND
NORTHERN BERKELEY COUNTIES. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE
NORTH AND THE CAPABILITY OF PRODUCING AROUND 2 INCHES OF RAIN IN
AN HOURS TIME. WITH THE SATURATED GROUNDS IN THE REGION...FLOODING
IN LOW LYING AREAS AND POORLY DRAINED AREAS IS LIKELY.

* LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
KINGSTREE...LANE...CADES...NESMITH...TRIO...GOURDIN...SALTERS...
EARLE...WARSAW AND MORRISVILLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE SOME ELEVATED WATER LEVELS ON SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS. KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE FROM THE BANKS OF STREAMS...CREEKS
AND DITCHES. PONDING OF WATER ON COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLAND IS
EXPECTED. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED AREAS SINCE YOUR VEHICLE MAY
STALL AND YOU MAY BECOME STRANDED.
