The old way of warning people about an approaching storm is over. It used to be that storm warning were issued county by county. As we a storm does not usually affect an entire county. So why warn the people in the North when the storm is in the South? I'm sure you have seen us using the polygon warnings for quites some time. Well that will be the official way warning are don starting October 1st.
