If you have been sitting around this summer thinking that is has been a cooler one that last summer,you would be right. I did some research and here is the difference as of June 29th, 2007 compared to June 29th, 2006.
Days with Temps 85 and higher: 35 in 2006......19 in 2007
Days with Temps 90 and higher: 24 in 2006......5 in 2007
Days with Temps 95 and higher: 7 in 2006........0 in 2007
So far this year has been substantially cooler than it was at this same point last year. It doesn't look like we will catch last year even if we get some hot weather in here for the remainder of the summer because in July and August of 2006 the weather only got hotter with more days above 95 and quite a few days that topped 100 degrees.
