* AT 724 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
HEAVY RAIN IS FALLING OVER THE AREA...WITH RAINFALL RATES BETWEEN
ONE HALF AND THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH PER HOUR. WITH A SLOW
MOVEMENT TO THE EAST...WATER COULD POND ON AREA ROADS AND
FILL CREEKS UP VERY FAST.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
