Conditions are improving. Updated 10:45AM Sunday

The forecast for the next several days includes lots of sunshine and temperatures warming into the 40s by Tuesday and Wednesday. This will allow for imporving conditions everywhere. The thing to look out for will be ice forming on the roads as the melted snow and ice re-freezes at night as temperaturs drop back below freezing. There will be some slick spots on the roads for the next few mornings so continue to use extra caution on the roadways.

Power line crews have made steady progress this weekend and many people have seen their power turned back on. With nice weather forecasted for the next several days crews expect to continue making steady progress. However, there are still many without power. For some folks in the "hard to reach" areas power will still be out for several days. The good news is the crews are working as quickly as they can and progress is being made.
