You may remember that there was not much precipitation during the month of November. Normally November is not noted for being a wet month but the two days where we actually saw precipitation only totaled 0.10 inches. This come out as the 8th driest November ever for Topeka. Normally we see 2.31 inches of precipitation, so the 0.10 total left us 2.21 inches below average.
However, for the year of 2007, Topeka is still over 2 inches ahead of our 30 year average rainfall amounts. Most of that can be attributed to a very wet May and a wet October.
