As of Sunday evening, November 18th, Topeka has yet to record even a trace of rain for the month of November. In an average year we would have already seen 1.48 inches for the month. However, despite the dry month thus far we have officially recorded 36.38 inches for the year of 2007 which is still 2.99 inches ahead of the 30 year average. We can thank an extremely we May and October for being above average. We do need the rain and hopefully we will pick some up with the next storm system geared to move into the area on Tuesday Night.
