.A POTENT UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL TRACK FROM THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE
INTO NORTHERN NEBRASKA FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. ON FRIDAY...AS THE
LOW EMERGES FROM THE CENTRAL ROCKIES ONTO THE HIGH PLAINS OF THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...ENOUGH COLD AIR MAY BE DRAWN INTO THE SYSTEM TO
CHANGE RAIN OVER TO SNOW. AT THIS TIME...THE TIMING OF THE CHANGE
OVER FROM RAIN TO SNOW IS STILL IN DOUBT. ANY CHANGE IN THIS
TIMING WILL SIGNIFICANTLY ADD TO OR DECREASE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
DURING THE EVENT. AT THIS TIME...LOCATIONS ACROSS THE NORTHEASTERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...AS WELL AS THE NORTHWESTERN NEBRASKA
SANDHILLS HAVE THE HIGHEST THREAT FOR ACCUMULATING SNOWS OF 6
INCHES OR HIGHER. IN ADDITION TO SNOW...STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS ARE
POSSIBLE WHICH MAY PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...SNOW MAY BEGIN AS EARLY AS FRIDAY MORNING...AND MAY
CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AT THIS TIME...4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE...WITH THE HIGHEST ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ALONG THE
PINE RIDGE OF NORTHERN SHERIDAN COUNTY AND FAR NORTHWESTERN
CHERRY COUNTY.

* WIND...NORTHERLY WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH...WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH
ARE POSSIBLE.
