TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Road travel will not be an issue for anyone traveling around the Midwest. Cold, below average temperatures will continue to dominate the Mid-West, but with with high pressure in control, rain and snow chances will be minimal.
Dry weather should lead to excellent road conditions around the middle of the country through Sunday.
The issue looks to be with airline travel. A large storm system already canceled 300+ flights out of Dallas on Sunday & Monday. The same storm system will move across the Southern US and up the East Coast through the week, bringing rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow.
Airport delays will certainly be possible, especially on Wednesday from Washington D.C. to Boston. This could have a ripple effect across the country through the Thanksgiving weekend.
