TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A reminder as the temperatures dip below zero to remember your furry friends.
Helping Hands Humane Society says dogs and cats can get frostbitten ears, noses and feet.
Experts advise bringing pets indoors if you can. If not, provide an elevated house with clean, dry bedding and a flap over the door to keep out drafts.
Also, remember to check their water dish often, to make sure it's not frozen.
