A SUNNY AND COOL START WAS NOTED OVER EASTERN KANSAS THIS MORNING.
MORNING LOWS WERE GENERALLY IN THE UPPER 20S AND 30S...ALTHOUGH
NORTH WINDS OF 5 TO 15 MPH PRODUCED WIND CHILL READINGS IN THE TEENS.
BY LATE MORNING...A FEW CLOUDS WERE SPREADING INTO SOUTHEAST
KANSAS WHILE CLEAR CONDITIONS CONTINUED TO THE NORTH. TEMPERATURES
AT 11 AM RANGED FROM 35 AT CONCORDIA AND SALINA...TO 49 AT
COFFEYVILLE.

CLOUDS WILL INCREASE OVER SOUTHERN AND WESTERN PARTS OF THE
REGION THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY AS A DEVELOPING STORM
SYSTEM MOVES IN FROM THE WEST. SHOWERS CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED OVER
WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND SOUTHWEST KANSAS BY LATE AFTERNOON. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL REACH INTO THE 40S AND 50S AT MOST LOCATIONS.
EXTREMES WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 30S IN NORTHERN IOWA TO THE LOW
60S IN OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS.

THE CLOUDS AND SHOWERS WILL SPREAD NORTHEAST OVERNIGHT...COVERING
MUCH OF THE REGION BY DAYBREAK TUESDAY. A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW
WILL BE FOUND ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA AND IOWA. LOW TEMPERATURES
WILL FALL INTO THE 20S AND 30S FOR THE MOST PART...WITH WARMER 40S
OVER SOUTHERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA.
