Much Needed Rainfall Saturday Night

A storm system August 9-10 brought some much needed rain across northeast Kansas especially overnight. There is another opportunity
for more rain on the afternoon of Sunday, August 10th but not expected to be very heavy, maybe as much as an addition 0.25". The following figures in the article are 24 hour rainfall totals from airports and also 24 Rain Vision or radar estimated rainfall. Note that the heaviest rainfall was in north-central Kansas including an area of 6" plus in the white along the Cloud/Mitchell county line or just east of Gilbert.
