Strong winds and hot weather are making conditions for firefighters difficult Monday (5/5) as they battle a large wildfire in central Oklahoma that left one person dead and burned at least half a dozen homes into the ground.
Helicopter teams are making water drops, as strong winds continue to fan flames and send smoke plumes blowing for miles in the area. Temperatures are expected to climb to 100 degrees fahrenheit, with strong winds expected to become higher still.
