Long range computer projections are indicating freezing temperatures next Sunday morning across much of the lower 48 states.
This projection is 9 days in advance, but certainly shows signs that "Fall" temperatures and even "Winter" temperatures are getting closer and closer.
Average morning minimum temperatures for northeast Kansas should be in the upper 30s and lower 40s in the late part of October. The good news, for those of you trying to get the most out of this year's "growing season", is that even with this very cold computer projection... we would still remain above freezing through at least October 20.
