Record Heat this Week? Not Compared to 1934

While very hot temperatures are forecasted for the next week or two, at this point it does not look like we will see any records broken. In fact, we will mostly likely not even come within 10 degrees of setting a record. Here are the record highs for the next week.

Aug 5th: 109
Aug 6th: 109
Aug 7th: 110
Aug 8th: 110
Aug 9th: 110
Aug 10th: 112
Aug 11th: 110

All of the above records were set during the dust bowl days of 1934.
