Heavy Rain Soaks parts of Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Torrential rains exceeding five inches have fallen in parts of Kansas this morning, and it's not over yet.

Flash flooding is imminent or has already begun in several counties. Forecasters say two to three inches of rain fell in just one hour between Arcadia and Farmington in Crawford County and more rainfall is expected.

In central Kansas, five inches fell overnight in Rice County and another inch or two were expected. Four inches drenched Linn County in a three-hour stretch.

A series of rainstorms is moving east-southeast into Missouri.
