A cold front hitting Kansas spawned tornadoes and strong thunderstorms Monday, fortunately there have been no reports of serious destruction or injury.
In Comanche County a tornado was sighted near the town of Protection, Kansas around 7:30 p.m. Witnesses say some farm equipment was damaged.
The National Weather Service says there is a strong possibility of similar weather throughout central and western Kansas Tuesday.
